The beginnings of an argument

A sustainable pedagogy must be recursive.

That is, a sustainable pedagogy must successfully disseminate itself in the process.

What is missing, I think, in conventional pedagogy is an acknowledgement of the existence and complexity of the politics in which the pedagogy is situated in.

What is missing, I think, in mainstream politics is the explicit intention and goal of knowledge/wisdom dissemination as a goal in and of itself.

pedagogy-politics: a pedagogy that wholly acknowledges politics, a politics that aims for pedagogy

a pedagogy-politics, in essence, strives to teach, teaches teaching and teaches the pursuit of teaching teaching.

New anger is good, old anger is bad

it's PURELY the loss-of-control aspect of anger that is harmful.

Anger occurs at a state of focus where the emotions in that focus are from your insecurity-emotions set.

HOWEVER, in that state of insecurity-focus, choice (the apparition of it) STILL EXISTS. in that state, those insecurity-emotions trigger defense mechanisms. habits. instincts. at the same time, justifications for CHOOSING to indulge those insecurity-emotions start popping up all over the place, overshadowing the more "rational"-and-existent explanations.

At this point, one must be able to recognize one's own anger, realize that that emotion of anger is NEVER USEFUL (this is another assertion I'm making)
and manually divert their focus away from those insecurity-emotions (ideally towards the appropriate confidence emotions).

Furthermore, upon self-reflection, one must investigate the situation to determine what the insecurity-emotions were that caused the almost-anger.

Creativity, open-mindedness, adventurousness and courage (more or less) are what is necessary to determine the actions and ruminations that will be necessary to achieve closure on those insecurities so that they can become points of confidence instead.

this confidence emotion can become the choice for diversion the next time almost-anger occurs, effectively breaking that particular anger cycle.

but even MORE than that. what's amazing is, you get better at it. learning more about yourself and your anger and learning more about how you can control yourself, you start seeing so much more in other people. you start seeing more colours of the emotion palette. you start seeing more colour combinations, techniques, methods.

In this sense, anger isn't always bad, PER SE.

The OCCURRENCE of anger in and of itself is only bad if it continues to contribute to the perpetuation of non-closure on insecurity-emotions that caused that anger.

In essence, new anger is good, old anger is bad.

New anger is a new symptom of your imperfection.
Old anger is part of your disease.
